When Stella was rescued, she weighed only 5 pounds and had an abscessed bite wound on her face, a badly damaged eye and a smaller bite wound on her back. She was taken to a vet where she received treatment for the injuries and for a tumor on her chin. Due to the injury, she is now blind in one eye. Her owners were never found, so this sweet cat needs a place to live. None of the local no-kill shelters will take her and she is just too nice of a cat to be put down. If you foster this kitty, she can be returned at any time if she isn’t a good fit for your home or if she develops health issues. She is an older cat and will be an easy and low maintenance kitty to have in your home. She is spayed, vaccinated and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Her litterbox habits are perfect and she is a cat who is confident and adjusts quickly to new people and places. She is not, however, fond of other cats. So, we’d like to have her placed as a solo. Due to her loss of vision, she will need to be a strictly indoor only cat. She’d be perfect for a senior citizen who wants an affectionate cat, but doesn’t want a young one scaling the curtains and getting under-foot. No adoption fee to the right home. I will be transporting her to her new home, so the foster home / adopter needs to be in Snohomish or North King County. Email  if you are interested in giving Stella a happy ending.
