Aggie is as sweet as they come. When you talk to her or pet her, she happily stretches out and makes muffins with her paws. An easy girl to have around, Aggie is independent and used to being on her own. We found out about her when we had a call about a feral cat that had shown up last winter at a rural home. When we set traps for the cat, there was Aggie sitting right next to the traps meowing. She was definitely NOT feral.
A trip to the vet revealed that she had a previously injured ear that causes it to lay down flat. She was spayed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and mites and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Why is she unadoptable? Cats that can’t get into a no kill shelter due to age, personality or health are deemed unadoptable. At kill shelters, cats like this often have to be euthanized to make space for the adoptable ones.
Aggie is a perfect girl who loves attention and CRAVES canned food. Her age is what landed her here. Estimated to be 8 – 10 years old, she isn’t able to get into a no kill shelter. She is too beautiful and loving to take to a public shelter, so we are posting her here. Aggie will be at Maser’s Pet Store in Kenmore, WA starting August 3rd if you want to meet her in person. Email CatTalesWa@gmail.com if you have questions or wish to adopt her.
